Whew… April has already been a whirlwind, with a gig, a recital for my students, and a surprise trip to Portland to see a wonderful play!
My Shows page is up to date with all of my most recent bookings. I have performances almost every weekend this month including 2 shows on April 16! I’m looking forward to playing at the Local Roots Festival in Salem that morning (Jamie Corff will be joining me for back-up vocals, and probably 1 or 2 Luminous Heart songs), and that evening I’ll be providing music (with Joe Aloia joining me on bass) for the Yamhill CASA fundraiser in McMinnville.
This coming weekend I’m back at Park Place Cafe in Gresham – one of my all-time favorite places to play. I love this restaurant- not only do they have wonderful food, but the audience is always amazing… it feels like a house concert, because they listen so closely to the lyrics and music. As a songwriter, that always warms my heart!
At the end of the month, I’ll be back at Cornerstone Coffee Roasters in McMinnville with Jamie Corff for a Luminous Heart show. I have to say that I’m very excited about our duo. We play mostly originals, and have been working on dialing in all of the harmonies and musical solos. We’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback about our performances, and looking forward to playing several shows over the next few months, as well as getting in the studio to do some recording. Here’s a link for a video Jamie’s daughter made from our performance on April 1st in Newberg.
I hope to see you at a show in Gresham, Salem or McMinnville this month!
