How did it get to be mid-January already?? I had a good December, spending time with family and friends, and chilling out a bit. I hope you had a good month as well.
I’ve been busy working on new songs, and new arrangements of a lot of the Luminous Heart songs (check out our website if you haven’t yet!) We were scheduled to play last week in Portland at the Alberta St Pub, but the show was canceled due to the snow. We’re back on the schedule for April 12th, so mark your calendars!
Speaking of shows, I’ve been mainly focused on booking Luminous Heart gigs, but I do have a solo show coming up in about 10 days – I’ll be at Barrel 47 in Carlton, so come on down for some tunes! And Luminous Heart will play twice in Carlton next month – Feb 11th at Troon, and Feb 17 at the Horse Radish.
Lastly, I’m sharing a rough recording of a brand-new song. It’s sort of a follow-up to “Pink”, and it’s called “Hell, No“. I figure it’s timely given the Women’s Marches scheduled for this coming weekend. I hope you like it!
